Diverse Flavours tees off with Callaway

By Doug Newhouse |

Diverse Flavours and Callaway Golf Korea are promoting Ernie Els Wines at Incheon Airport, offering golf prizes at Lotte until the end of May.

The wine company says that any customers buying any Ernie Els Wines selected from Ernie Els Signature, Proprietors Blend and Big Easy Red to the value of US$100 receive a sleeve of 3 Hex Chrome Callaway Golf balls. By contrast, customers spending more than $150 receive the sleeve of three golf balls, plus a Callaway Cap.

Diverse Flavours Managing Director and Owner Anthony Budd (top right) commented: “This is the first time for us to run such a promotion and we are very excited about this opportunity. From my previous experience working with Scotch whisky brands at Incheon airport, I know brands respond very well to added value promotions.

“With a high numbers of golfers going through Incheon who have great respect for Ernie Els, and who admire and use Callaway Golf products this has got to be a win win for everyone. In addition, The Ernie Els Signature 2008 was recently awarded 93 points from Wine Advocate/ Robert Parker, the Proprietors Blend 2010 also received 93 points and the Big Easy 2010 – 88 points.

“This type of recognition from the most respected authorities on wine will help the Asian consumer benchmark how South African wines are performing and their quality credentials.”
