Geoff Kirk has been appointed Managing Director South East Asia at the Edrington Group, based in Singapore.

 

Kirk was previously Area Director, South East Asia and India and he now reports to Martin Reimann, Edrington’s Regional Managing Director – Asia Pacific and India, based in Hong Kong.

 

With nearly 40 years of working in Asia with a background in luxury retail brands, Kirk joined Edrington in 2004.

With this promotion, I look forward to taking our award-winning brands to greater heights in a market that has both loyal whisky connoisseurs and is also increasingly attracting an entirely new segment of consumers who are becoming aware of the taste and value of fine spirits.”

 

Kirk added that he is in the process of expanding Edrington’s presence in South East Asia, following the incorporation of Edrington Singapore Pte Ltd in 2012, and will be adding to the company’s marketing and distribution resources later this year.
