Ten new fashion brands at HKIA including Chanel and Balenciaga

By Doug Newhouse |

Airport Authority Hong Kong is adding ten more international brands to its T1 shopping offer, including the first Harrods store in Hong Kong.

New brands joining the plethora of existing ones include Balenciaga, Blancpain, Bvlgari, Christian Dior, Givenchy, Jaeger Le Coultre, Miu Miu, Moncler and Tory Burch. This brings the list of brands to 33.

Chanel has opened the largest of these stores and the first duplex outlet in an Asia Pacific airport at approximately 5,000sq ft. The product mix features a comprehensive selection of the brand’s signature handbags, fashion, accessories and shoes.

Balenciaga has also opened its debut airport store in the world, while Moncler and Givenchy have unveiled their sole airport stores in the Asia Pacific region. Airport Authority says that all of these new brands should be up and trading by the end of this calendar year.
