LS Travel Retail Pacific in A$250,000 prize promotion

By Kevin Rozario |

Aelia Duty Free stores in Adelaide, Australia and Queenstown, New Zealand, as well as Duty Free Australia Store in Australia’s Gold Coast, are running a campaign claimed to offer the greatest cash prize currently available in Australasia.

The LS Travel Retail Pacific stores launched a promotion called Crack the Vault on 11 August which gives all passengers with an eligible purchase a chance to win A$250,000 ($233,500).

Running until 10 October, customers who spend $100 on liquor get a chance to ‘crack the vault’ and win the cash, simply by entering their choice of a six-digit number on an in-store iPad.

General Manager Duty Free, Ivo Favotto, says: “With the support of our vendors, the chance for one of our customers to ‘crack the vault’ offers great excitement around their duty free shopping experience.”

LS Travel Retail Pacific is part of the wider regional division, LS Travel Retail ASPAC which operates more than 250 outlets at over 16 airports in Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, New Caledonia, Singapore and Taiwan. It is part of France’s Lagardère Services group.
