Martell’s designer duo for Asia TR

Two limited edition bottles have been launched for Martell VSOP and Martel Noblige by Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail ahead of the key gifting period.

French fashion designer Jean-Charles de Castelbajac has designed a ‘Paris Style’ Limited Edition for the VSOP inspired by the iconic district of Montmartre. The 1L expression, only available in travel retail, is white all over with red and blue accents – mirroring the French flag – and features hand drawn illustrations by de Castelbajac.

An artistic, complementary tote bag will also be available to consumers as a unique GWP.

Meanwhile the Martell Noblige Limited Edition bottle has been ‘dressed’ entirely in black by the Taiwanese Canadian designer Jason Wu and is designed to reinvent Noblige through the inclusion of elegant but masculine and contemporary elements that echo the style of the tuxedo.

Rising star Wu, who has dressed some of the most influential women in the world including First Lady Michelle Obama, has designed both the bottle and packaging for Martell Noblige.

The bottle is coated in a soft finish like black leather, while the packaging features subtle gold accents that showcase the elegance and luxury of the brand. Pernod Ricard Asia TR say this luxury display and execution will appeal to travellers in Asia who are looking for an extra special luxury gift.

Sandrine Tesniere, Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail Marketing Manager, comments, “We are really excited to be working with artists as iconic as Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and Jason Wu. These stylish and contemporary limited editions allow us to propose unique and vibrant product offers to travellers in Asia and stand out in stores at a key period of the year.

“We’re confident that this strong product offering will grab the attention of existing Martell drinkers and new buyers, who are either looking for something special for themselves or an exclusive and trendy gift.”

Martell VSOP Paris Style Limited Edition is now available from selected airports in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. Martell Noblige Limited Edition Dressed by Jason Wu can be found at Hong Kong International Airport, Lo Wu Border and Shanghai Pudong International Airport.
