The Changi Airport Group is a week away from closing a T1 watch tender and a luxury six-location concession planned for T2.

The Changi Airport Group is currently offering a three-year contract for a circa 292sq m Watch Concession in Terminal 1’s Departure/Transit Lounge Central, with the contract period on offer from 13 July 2015 to 12 July 2018.

According to the Changi Airport Group, this tender closes on January 19 – some five days after a tender for six luxury brand name offerings also closes on 14 January. In this separate three-year tender, CAG is inviting established retailers to bid for various opportunities in the T2 Departure/Transit Lounge.

In its brief description of the opportunity, CAG states: “We are looking for unique and exciting luxury brands and concepts that are currently not represented at Terminal 2 of Singapore Changi Airport and will inject buzz to and differentiate the retail offerings at Singapore Changi Airport. All product categories may be considered, except for Liquor & Tobacco and Perfumes & Cosmetics.”

The location and sizes of these shops varies. In Departure/Transit Lounge Central, Terminal 2 it comprises Concession A/circa 98sq m; Concession C/circa 110sq m; and Concession D/circa 103.7sq m.

In Departure/Transit Lounge South, Terminal 2 the opportunity comprises Concession E/circa 144sq m; Concession F/circa 152sq m; and Concession G/circa 114sq m. An addition concession B/circa 86sq m is also available in Departure/Transit Lounge North, Terminal 2.

The tenancy periods allocated to each of these concessions are as follows: Concession A: 1 Sept 2015 to 31 Aug 2018; B: 9 Oct 2015 to 8 Oct 2018; C: 7 Nov 2015 to 6 Nov 2018; D: 1 Jan 2016 to 31 Dec 2018; E: 8 Feb 2016 to 7 Feb 2019; F: 15 Feb 2016 to 14 Feb 2019; G: 15 Feb 2016 to 14 Feb 2019.
