TRT has joined forces with TRBusiness magazine, to add another dimension to the newly launched TRTradeshow for inflight retail and catering.

 

On the Wednesday morning of the show, 17 September, a ‘Question Time’ inspired workshop will take place on the tradeshow floor before it opens for regular business.

 

Charlotte Smith, Deputy Editor and Managing Editor Online for TRBusiness magazine, will facilitate the workshop which will see a panel of industry experts answer questions from the floor and discuss pertinent topics concerning the inflight retail and catering industry.

 

TRBusiness invites you to send in your question here, with regard to inflight retail, retail catering and catering, which will be treated with the utmost confidentiality. “This is not about putting any one person or one company ‘on the spot’ it is more about creating a forum for open and honest dialogue,” says TRT UK MD Christine Martin.

Concessionaires that represent over 80 airlines between them have now confirmed their attendance to the TRTradeshow which will take place in September. “We have very long standing relationships with all stakeholders within this retail channel and they trust us to deliver a professional and meaningful event” says TRT Managing Director, Christine Martin.

The organisers of ISPY (Travel Retail Training Ltd) announced that they would be launching a new tradeshow, combining inflight retail and catering, back in March this year.

 

Martin says that the ‘buzz word’ for 2014 is innovation. “We want to provide airline buyers and concessionaires with innovative products to consider. Therefore, we are encouraging attendance from suppliers that are new to inflight retail with our very affordable ‘Display Table and Shell Scheme Stands’ packages. Suppliers who want to host meetings and make this an ‘order writing opportunity,’ there are a number of private showrooms available.”
