CTC-ARI launches Dior promotion

Cyprus Airports Duty Free has opened a new Parfums Christian Dior pop-up store concept at Larnaka Airport to drive incremental sales.

Located in the main departures area, the retailer says this latest in a series of pop-up shops has been installed by CTC-ARI and Hermes Airports to create some ‘genuine retail theatre’ and comprises a ‘niche range’ of Dior fragrances and the company’s new It Lash Look, alongside new summer collection cosmetics.

The retailer says that the whole experience is brought to life through digital screens featuring Dior promotional videos, plus an  on-site DJ who plays music to keep many customers in the holiday mood before they finally depart home.

CTC-ARI adds that the highlight ‘for most customers’ has been the additional presence of internationally renowned makeup artist Cosmas, offering complimentary flash makeovers and dispensing beauty tips.

CTC-ARI General Manager Garrett Coogan commented: “We are always looking for new ways to excite our customers and enhance their overall shopping experience, and this pop up shop delivers on all fronts. I’d like to acknowledge the ongoing support of Hermes Airports and from Dior for facilitating the installation, although on a smaller scale it still epitomises the Trinity spirit that is so important to travel retail.”
