Armani Jeans joins Victoria’s Secret at Delhi

By Kevin Rozario |

An Armani Jeans store has opened in Delhi Duty Free Service’s expanded luxury area in the departures area of Terminal 3 at Indira Gandhi International Airport.

The 65sq m unit, the first from Giorgio Armani for its AJ sub-brand at the airport, joins Victoria’s Secret and will sell clothing, accessories, footwear and small leather collections for both men and woman.

A DDFS spokesperson tells TRBusiness that the AJ and Victoria’s Secret stores extend the luxury boutiques from four to six units. Other brands in this space include Hugo Boss, Pandora, Swarovski and Montblanc. German fashion brand MCM and Samsonite Black, both present at the original launch more than three years ago, have since vacated.

Launched in 1981, Armani Jeans is now sold in more than 45 countries. The brand is a modern and contemporary fashion line with a price point designed to be competitive with the European market as well as with American premium denim brands.
