Fazer makes Kreol Indian agent
By Doug Newhouse |
Fazer confectionery has appointed Kreol Travel Retail as its travel retail distributor for the Indian market.
Kreol Trading first entered the travel retail channel in 2002, partnering with Alpha Retail at Cochin Duty Free.
It has since expanded to independently represent many global and regional brands and established a strong distribution network in the Arabian Gulf countries as well as in the Indian sub-continent.
A.S. Lal, CEO of the UAE-based company commented: “We are very proud to be partnering with Fazer, a company in existence since 1891. We believe the brand and its products have got great potential in the region because the Indian consumer now expects to be offered a variety of international brands.
“We are confident that travel retail in India is going to chalk up substantial growth in the coming years.”
Products made by Fazer include: Karl Fazer; Geisha; Dumle; Fazermint; Liqueur Fills; Fazer Angry Birds; and Fazer Magic.
“We are happy to associate with Kreol Travel Retail and value their experience in the industry,” said Juha Ovaska, Head of Fazer Brands International.
“We are committed to the Indian market where the industry is showing healthy growth.” [For more information contact: [email protected]]
