m1nd-set expands research team

After double-digit growth in each of the last six years, market research agency m1nd-set has appointed Pablo Saez Gil Senior Project Manager.

 

The Swiss-based company says that Saez Gil is a graduate in International Economics from the University of Zaragoza in Spain and has over ten years’ experience in marketing intelligence in the FMCG, travel and tourism sectors.

 

Dr. Peter Mohn, Owner & CEO at m1nd-set (inset, above) said: “Pablo is a great asset and we are delighted to have him on the team. His experience as an analyst will bring considerable value to the very diverse work we do on behalf of suppliers, retailers and airlines. He has diverse research background which will help provide a fresh perspective on our work.”

 

Pablo Saez Gil is the company’s new Senior Project Manager.

 

A GROWING TEAM

The company has also appointed to other new recent team members, including Ezra Bottequin and Dipavati Luisier, who both provide support functions to Saez Gil and the m1nd-set team of analysts.

 

m1nd-set works for more than 20 from various product categories, as well as a number of the duty free and travel retail associations and five leading retailers in the industry. Dr. Peter Mohn is also well know for the numerous presentations he has made at industry conferences.

 

m1nd-set is currently present with local interviewers at more than 50 airports on a regular basis to conduct on-site research. It also has its own database of regular international travellers. Corporate social responsibility is also a fundamental part of the company’s philosophy and each year it donates a minimum of 10% of its profits to charity, mainly for unprivileged children in developing countries.

 

In 2013, the company, whose head office is situated on the banks of Lake Geneva in the Swiss town of Vevey, recorded a 17% growth in business, of which 45% was in the duty free and travel sector. The company also has long-standing experience in other travel-related research, namely producing the Global Syndicated Airline Satisfaction research in partnership with IATA and participating airlines.
