Weston replaces Greenwood as William Grant travel retail head

By Kevin Rozario |

Justin Weston, today, was appointed Managing Director, Global Travel Retail at drinks group William Grant & Sons, reporting directly to Chief Marketing Officer Maurice Doyle.

Weston (right) was previously the Managing Director & CEO for the Global Liqueurs & Spirits division of Rémy Cointreau and takes over from Rita Greenwood (below left), who had been in the role for six years. Weston will be based in Singapore to focus on the rapidly growing Asian and Middle East duty free and travel retail markets.

Prior to his time at Rémy Cointreau, Weston held senior marketing positions based in the USA with the Fosters Wine Group and with Pernod Ricard/Allied Domecq, joining the latter from LVMH where he held the role of Regional Director Americas based in France.

Doyle comments: “Justin is a proven leader in global premium spirits. I am very confident that he will help us deliver our ambitious goals for our brands in the channel and build on the excellent work done by his predecessor Rita Greenwood.  As a company, we remain fully committed to global travel retail as a strategic priority for our business.”
