Westfield has named Joe Waller as its Senior Vice President of Business Development and Leasing within the Airports division. He joins Westfield from HMSHost, where he led business development in airports nationwide.
Waller will lead new business and leasing activities for Westfield’s $860m in annual sales airports portfolio, including properties like Los Angeles International Airport, where Westfield oversees development at Terminals 1,2,3,6 and the new Tom Bradley International Terminal, and Chicago O’Hare’s new International Terminal 5.
“With over a decade of industry-leading experience, I have long followed Joe’s career and couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome him to our leadership team,” said Dominic Lowe, Executive Vice President of Westfield’s Airports division. “Joe’s impeccable reputation and vast expertise in developing winning retail and dining programs will prove invaluable as Westfield continues to raise the bar on the consumer experience in airports around the country.”
“As anyone who has visited the new Tom Bradley International Terminal at LAX will tell you, Westfield is creating revolutionary retail and dining experiences for travelers. I could not be more excited about working with this excellent team and bringing the Westfield experience to more airports,” said Joe Waller.
Prior to joining Westfield, Waller served as Vice President, Business Development for HMSHost, where he directed airport relationships generating approximately $400,000,000 in restaurant and retail sales annually. Before his tenure at HMSHost, Waller advised airports on economic and strategic issues as Senior Consultant and General Counsel at Landrum & Brown in Cincinnati, OH.
