Calvin Klein fragrances and Coty Reveal famous new faces, Charlie Hunnam and Doutzen Kroes

Calvin Klein Fragrances, a division of Coty Inc, today announced that British actor Charlie Hunnam, who stars in FX’s television series, Sons of Anarchy, and Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes, will be featured in the new worldwide advertising campaign for the brand’s latest women’s fragrance, REVEAL Calvin Klein, which will debut in July 2014.

 

 

The REVEAL Calvin Klein print advertising campaign was shot by renowned photographers Mert Alas + Marcus Piggott who collaborated with creative director Doug Lloyd of Lloyd&Co. The print creative features Kroes and Hunnam in a ‘heated embrace’ through the window of a modern high-rise apartment. “As the sun sets behind a dusky skyline, the city is reflected in the window, suggesting a voyeuristic glimpse at a sexy game of seduction and desire,” says Calvin Klein.

CK says that the REVEAL Calvin Klein scent ‘defines a new fragrance category’ – the solar oriental – which is characterized by ‘intriguing duality, unexpected freshness and enveloping warmth’. The fragrance was created by perfumers Jean-Marc Chaillan and Bruno Jovanovic of fragrance house IFF, in conjunction with fragrance consultant Ann Gottlieb.

 

Hunnam has starred in several films, including Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim, Jordan Roberts’ comedy Frankie Go Boom and Stefan Ruzowitzky’s Deadfall with Eric Bana and Olivia Wilde. Hunnam also starred alongside Elijah Wood in the independent film Green Street Hooligans about the violent world of soccer hooliganism, and recently filmed Crimson Peak for Guillermo del Toro alongside Tom Hiddleston and Jessica Chastain, which will be out next summer.

 

Kroes is an international supermodel who works with the industry’s most respected photographers. She has graced the covers of American, Italian, French, Chinese, Japanese, German and Spanish editions of Vogue, as well as numerous other titles.
