CIR ‘future proofs’ through investment in Confirmit Horizons

By Kevin Rozario |

Research consultancy CIR says that it is upgrading its data handling software, and buying new equipment, to keep its travel retail field based data collection, delivery and reporting capabilities up to scratch.

CIR is moving to the Confirmit Horizons platform for data handling and has invested in an additional 100 iPads for its global research and audit teams.

Managing Director, Garry Stasiulevicuis, says: “By improving the tools that our field team uses, and by merging our data collection and analysis functionality, we are optimising our capabilities and therefore offering a more efficient and effective service.”

Stasiulevicuis say that the secure architecture of the new software platform offers the flexibility needed to create custom research and also store audits projects which are increasingly demanded from clients. “The seamless integration of Confirmit Horizons with our existing custom in-house reporting programmes is another benefit that will provide a substantial improvement in workflow and a reduction in the turnaround time of our survey and audit activities.”

The upgrade is timely as the new data handling platform will be used for the company’s Digital Age study.
