Best of the Bordeaux wine region from Vinissimes JV

By Caroline Sargent |

Vinissimes, a joint venture between wine and Cognac giants Ginestet and Camus, has released its Collection Particulière – a travel exclusive celebration of the best wines that Bordeaux’s three most prestigious appellations has to offer.

With more than two centuries of winemaking and international expertise behind it, Collection Particulière takes the wine connoisseur on a journey through the renowned wine regions of Bordeaux, Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion and Medoc.

Beginning with the stylish, engraved, scroll design of the bottles and gift box right through to the selection of elegant and full-bodied wines, the collection is ‘a tribute’ to the terroir, traditions and craftsmanship associated with French winemaking, says Vinissimes.

The designs of each label call to mind the gates of the finest Bordeaux estates and the architecture of some of the city’s most historic residences, and are shaded pale gold for the Bordeaux, and gilded copper for the Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion and Medoc.

The Collection Particulière range has recommended selling prices of US$35 for the Bordeaux, US$50 for the Puisseguin-Saint-Emilion and US$55 for the Medoc. Each is available in cases of 12x75cl including the box.
