Korloff presents its Voyager concept

By Caroline Sargent |

French diamond brand Korloff Paris will present its new Voyager watch concept to the travel retail industry at the forthcoming TFWA Exhibition in Cannes.

Designed for ‘the modern nomad‘ the Voyager watch concept is about multi-timezone watches with two faces – one formal, one sporty – and is available in a range of designs for both men and women.

For 2014 the 35mm ladies style come with a sparkling dark blue Aventurine dial on one face, with diamonds arranged in the Cassiopee star formation. The second face has a more classic white Mother of Pearl dial with Roman figures, enhanced by subtle diamonds.

For gentlemen, Korloff Paris combines both automatic and chrono-quartz movements in one watch for the first time. Two line extensions to Voyager have been designed with this innovation built in: the Highway and Spirit of St Louis Collections are simultaneously sporty and classic and wearable for a multitude of occasions.

Ideal for lovers of racing and inspired by the historic Grand Prix Lyon, the Highway Collection (pictured) denotes the original Mercedes that was driven by the winner of the Grand Prix on the formal face, and the latest modern-day Mercedes racing car on the chronograph face.

The legend of the first non-stop transatlantic flight from New York to Paris is the theme behind the Spirit of St Louis Collection. In commemoration of the then unknown US Mail pilot Charles Lindbergh and his miraculous 1927 feat in a single engine plane, the Spirit of Saint Louis, this Korloff Paris Voyager timepiece again celebrates historical moments to remember on one side and the evolution of the concept on the reverse.
