Inflight Service launches Jumpseat crew magazine
By Charlotte Turner |
Inflight Service (IFS) has launched a crew magazine entitled Jumpseat, which enables the company to share its insights and expertise in travel retail with crew members, and to ‘ultimately educate without training’.
The magazine will allow Inflight Service to “share its inspiration that we have for sales and assortment, to create a valuable product that fills a need; to inspire sales for our products in a non-conventional manner,” says John Baumgartner, Director of Business Acquisition for IFS.
“Our first issue tells the story of travel retail; its origins its progression and its challenges,” adds the company.
The issue showcases a selection of the news covering category trends, crew favourites, a travel journal from the company’s own Sales Person of the Year on an annual VIP City Break and an IFS guide on the basics of selling onboard.
The magazine contains interviews on high profile personalities in travel retail, in fashion, makeup and travel.
“The magazine is the latest addition to the extensive crew engagement programme that Inflight Service provides and continuously develops for the Airlines,” adds Baumgartner.
