New aged cigars from Habanos
By Caroline Sargent |
Habanos s.a. has introduced for the first time two new launches under the Habanos Añejados brand: Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados and Montecristo Churchills Añejados.
Aged in Cuba for five years or more, in carefully controlled conditions, the Habanos acquire levels of ‘shade and complexity without losing their initial organoleptic characteristics,’ explains the company. The result is cigars that are rounder and mellower to the palate, with a hint of cedar wood.
Both the Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados (52 ring gauge x 156 mm long) and Montecristo Churchills Añejados (47 ring gauge x 178 mm long) are new products presented as a special edition in limited quantities.
Offered in labelled boxes with double ring and external stick with the legend ‘Añejados’ printed, Habanos Añejados also have a vitolina describing the concept. On the bottom of the box the date when the Habanos were made can be verified, while a clearly visible ‘Revisado’ means 100% of the boxes have been opened and the cigars individually checked for quality.
Romeo y Julieta Pirámides Añejados and Montecristo Churchills Añejados will be available from outlets around the world during the first quarter of 2015.
