Dubai MEE show exhibition opens

By Doug Newhouse |

The Middle East’s MEADFA-backed Middle East Exclusive 2013 trade exhibition formally opened in Dubai yesterday for the region’s DF&TR industry.

The exhibition run by Channels Exhibitions for several years now was officially opened by H.E. Abdul Rahman Saif Al Ghurair, Chairman of Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Industry and runs until this Wednesday.

The organisers say that the show is “an important product sourcing event for airlines, duty free retailers and the wider industry” and the growing importance of international air travel markets centred on Dubai makes MEE a unique showcase for companies from around the world.

Justin Boutros, CEO of Channels Exhibitions said: “MEE 2013 is hosting a wide selection of companies showing new products from luxury goods to duty free essentials. MEE Dubai has a special place in the industry calendar because it really gives buyers and suppliers a chance to explore new product lines. It’s about offering something fresh to travel consumers.”
