Kreol partners with Saudi Duty Free

Kreol Travel Retail has launched Sweets of Oman Chiko brand of confectionery at WDFG and Al Musbah-managed Saudi Duty Free at Jeddah Airport

 

A.S.Lal, CEO, Kreol Travel Retail said: “We are delighted with the initial launch of Chiko products at Jeddah Duty Free. The products will eventually be available in Dammam and Riyadh Duty Free, which are scheduled to open soon. Kreol Travel Retail represents Chiko in the travel retail segments at Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Sharjah (UAE) and Cochin (India),”

 

Since its inception in 1990, Sweets of Oman SAOG has been satisfying the region’s demand for chocolates and sugar confectionery. The company is based at the Rusayl Industrial Estate in Muscat, Sultanate of Oman where its ‘state-of-the-art manufacturing facility’ produces a wide range of confectionery.

 

STRICT QUALITY CONTROLS

The company says it prides itself on its stringent quality control and hygiene standards to ensure products of international quality. Sweets of Oman obtained HACCP Certification in 2004. The company further obtained BRC (Global Standards for Food) certification in 2008.

Chiko confectionery is sold in over 40 countries, including airport retail outlets in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Bahrain, Qatar, Muscat, Nairobi as well as in India.
