Nuance wins FDFA Airport award

Nuance North America has been recognised by the Frontier Duty Free Association (FDFA) as the Best Canadian Airport Duty Free Company. This is the third year in a row that Nuance – also the biggest airport duty free retailer in Canada – has won this award which was determined by a panel comprising FDFA brand company executives who sell into the Canadian Duty Free stores. Nuance reported this news last week, although it actually received the award back on November 19 in Toronto, Ontario.Andrew Rattner, Vice President Buying and Merchandising, Nuance commented: “Winning this prestigious award for the third time is a great honour for us. I would like to take this opportunity to thank The Canadian Airport Council for their sponsorship of this award. “I would also like to thank everyone at Nuance who has contributed to our success. We are very proud of our stores and service here in Canada, especially our recent state-of-the-art developments in Toronto Pearson. We are committed to continue providing our customers with exciting retail environments and outstanding customer service”.Nuance’s business – which is now part of the Dufry Group – spans eight airports in the US and Canada, including Calgary, Toronto, Chicago, Denver, Fort Lauderdale, Houston, Las Vegas and Orlando.
