Abu Dhabi names Big Ticket winners

Abu Dhabi Duty Free (ADDF) has announced the 15 winners of its ?Big Ticket? raffle draw for May and reports that its new format - with more prizes than ever - is proving to bemore appealing to participants than ever.
This follows the decision by ADDF to increase the number of winners from 10 to 15 in recognition of the continuing anniversary celebrations commemorating 15 years of ADDF?s monthly raffle draw.
The big winner was a Mr Nasr Kenan, a UAE-resident from Syria who won the first prize of Dhms.1m ($272,272) after buying his ticket on a business trip from Abu Dhabi to Cairo.
Kenan has been a buyer of the ?Big Ticket? since its inception 15 years ago and is the coffee shop owner of Alfredo?s in Abu Dhabi Mall. He now plans to use the money to further his business expansion in Egypt.
The second prize of Dhms.100,000 ($27,227) down to the fifteenth prize of Dhms.5,000 ($1,361) were spread over a total of nine nationalities, with around a third of winners having purchased their tickets online via ADDF?s website at www.addf.ae.
Other lucky winners of the May Big Ticket draw were: Wael Abdel Waheed from Egypt (second prize of Dhms.100,000/$27,272); Chuliachan Vijay Vargese from India (third prize, Dhms.90,000/$24,504); Babu Uovinda from Indian (fourth prize, Dhms.70,000/$19,059); Mohammed Nabeel from India (fifth prize, Dhms.60,000/$16,336); Basheer Ahmed Refayer Ahmed from India (sixth prize, Dhms.50,000/$13,613); Khalid Mohammed Mohidden from India (seventh prize, Dhms.40,000/$10,890); Mohamed Saleh Mohammed Meera from Somali (eighth prize, Dhms.30,000/$8,168); Jesaline D? Silva from India (ninth prize, Dhms.20,000/$5,445); Nick Anton Bartido Ramos from the Philippines (tenth prize, Dhms.10,000/$2,722); plus five other winners.
