Double bubbles for Qantas First Class flyers

Australia’s largest domestic and international airline, Qantas, will now be serving premium Champagnes from G.H.MUMM and Perrier-Jouët in its First Class lounges, courtesy of a new listing with Pernod Ricard Pacific Travel Retail.

Both G.H.MUMM Rosé and Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut will be available in the Qantas International First Lounges in Melbourne Airport and Sydney Airport – the first time a rosé Champagne has appeared on the drinks menu at either lounge.

G.H.MUMM Rosé is a Pinot Noir-dominated Champagne with ‘a lively, dynamic body and notes reminiscent of fruits of the forest.’

Produced by one of the world’s most iconic houses in the Reims region, the ‘Royal Rosé’ is an elegant blend, pale salmon pink in colour with light orange highlights and abundant bubbles to complement a fine and elegant freshness.

G.H.MUMM – the official Champagne of Formula 1 racing – is also the no.2 Champagne brand in Australia.

Produced in Epernay, Champagne, the award-winning Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut is the original ‘brut’ style launched by the house in 1846 and boasts fine flavours of exotic fruits, honey and citrus.

Katie Gee, Senior Brand Manager for Pernod Ricard Pacific Travel Retail comments, “We’re delighted to have secured these two new listings with such a prolific and established airline.

“Guests of the Qantas International First Lounge have been extremely positive towards the new additions to the drinks menu and we look forward to raising our glasses to future passengers.”
