HKIA tenders new luxury branded boutique space

HKIA flights lining upAirport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) is tendering a luxury brand boutique concession at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) and inviting all interested parties to submit offers by 14.30 (Hong Kong time) on 28 July 2016.

In its tender invitation, AAHK says: “Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) presents a unique business opportunity for global luxury brand retailers to operate luxury brand boutique in this prestigious aviation hub in Asia.”

For uninitiated, it adds: “HKIA is a world-class international transport hub with extensive air, sea and land links, as well as round-the-clock facilities serving over 100 airlines and 68.5m passengers in 2015 with an annual growth of 8.1%. HKIA’s affluent mix of passengers come from all over the world, with 45% being executives, professionals and proprietors.”

AAHK describes this as an ‘extraordinary business opportunity in a premier location’ on Level 6 in the Departures East Hall Terminal 1 (restricted area).

Any interested parties wishing to view the tender documents can obtain a set by sending a non-refundable HK$500 ($64.36) money order payable to ‘Airport Authority’, accompanying a written request and specifying the tender number (16-006), their company name, contact details and trading name.
