Top Shilla Loft anniversarySouth-east Asian teenage ‘icon’ Lee Kwang Soo signed autographs and addressed a highly appreciative crowd at Singapore Changi Airport, as he fronted up The Shilla Duty Free Singapore’s first anniversary celebration marking the opening of its Beauty Loft at Terminal 3 earlier today.

 

The very popular Hallyu star who is also often referred to as the ’Asia Prince’ due to his popular Korean variety show Running Man, was making his first appearance as a brand ambassador for The Shilla Duty Free in Singapore since he was appointed back in March.

The Korean celebrity also apparently ‘charmed the Singapore and regional media’ at a closed door press conference, where he gave his views on becoming the new face of The Shilla Duty Free and visiting Singapore.

Many hundreds of admirers turned out at Singapore Changi Airport T3 today to catch a glimpse of their TV idol Lee Kwang Soo, who signed autographs, posed for photographs with fans and even interacted with some on stage as the face the Shilla Duty Free at the first annniversary of The Beauty Loft.

His appearance was also managed to coincide with Shilla’s launch partnership with three major beauty companies of Dior, La Prairie and SK-II at the Beauty Loft on the launch of its new Travel Ready beauty services for travellers during the period from October through to December 2016.

 

The retailer said that the Travel Ready services include a new Dior complexion and brow makeover, the latest SK-II R.N.APower Eye Massage, plus the signature La Prairie Platinum Forever facial treatment. It adds that these beauty sessions have been specifically designed to last 20 minutes to meet the very tight flight schedules of busy travellers.

 

Commenting on the development, Raelene Johnson, Head of Global Merchandise Division, The Shilla Duty Free said: “The new flash beauty services at Shilla Beauty Loft have been meticulously created with travellers in mind. We believe in continually evolving our travel retail offerings, and as a Cosmetics & Perfumes operator; elevating the beauty and skincare experience is always at the forefront of our strategy.

The long-awaited public autograph session followed in Changi Airport’s Terminal 3 Departure Hall where many hundreds of fans jostled to get a glimpse of their favourite Korean star up close, while a lucky few were also able to interact with the Korean entertainer on stage. Others were also able to have their photographs taken with him.
