Martell celebrates 300th anniversary at HKIA

Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail is continuing celebrations of Martell’s 300th anniversary at key airports from September to November, by staging some ‘striking activations’, including a prominent exhibition at Hong Kong International Airport.
The exhibition space at HKIA will be used to promote Martell Cordon Bleu Exclusive Limited Edition from 23rd September to 10th November 2015.
In celebration of the House’s Tricentenary, Cellar Master Benoît Fil has crafted a unique version of Martell Cordon Bleu, originally created in 1912 by Edouard Martell, the tenth descendant of the House’s founder.
“The reinterpretation of the exquisite blend pays tribute to their history and Edouard Martell’s legendary creation, by using 300 year-old oak barrels to rest the liquid, and the beautiful packaging it is presented in,” says Martell.
“The exhibition space unveils Martell’s rich and long history and vintage visuals of the House. It also invites travellers to indulge themselves into the Martell universe by having their photos taken against a French style living room, overlooking the vineyards of the Cognac region.”
The photo can then be printed onto iPhone cases as a gift with purchase. In addition, a gastronomy experience is offered to travellers with Foie gras, paired with Martell Cordon Bleu.
Throughout other major airports within the market, Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail says it is maximising visibility and engagement throughout the travel trail and working collaboratively with key customers and partners to raise awareness of Martell Prestige House.
