By Charlotte Turner |

Today, Danish jewellery brand Pandora opened a 13,5sq m promotional area at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) in partnership with the global travel retailer, DFS Group.

The promotional area highlights the ‘Explore, Dream and Discover’ campaign from Pandora and serves as an opportunity to pre-launch new travel charms from the brand, which will launch in other selected stores on the 30 July 2015. The store employs the use of a 6sq m video wall as a multimedia beacon to passing travellers.

“About 63m passengers visit HKIA every year, making this a very attractive store location for expanding Pandora’s global footprint and international brand recognition,” says Pandora.

“We are extremely proud and excited about opening stores at prestigious locations together with DFS,” adds Julian Mullins, VP Travel Retail, Pandora. “DFS and Pandora have been in partnership for just over one year and in that short time have successfully opened stores in Abu Dhabi, Honolulu, Guam, Saipan, Hainan as well as DFS’ downtown Hong Kong locations with the most recent addition being in DFS’ main store in the East Hall at HKIA.”
