Shilla launches debut Miu Miu fragrance

Singapore Changi Airport’s exclusive Cosmetics & Perfumes retailer The Shilla Duty Free says it is proud to be the first in global travel retail and the Asia Pacific region to launch the new debut fragrance from fashion house Miu Miu.
It says the launch, from 1-31 August 2015, reflects Shilla’s commitment to provide its customers with travel exclusives and a world-class shopping experience.
In a statement, the retailer said: “The Shilla Duty Free strives to expand the experience of Cosmetics & Perfumes to beyond product purchases. Strong partnerships with key brands have resulted in a series of global launches in the form of brand Outposts in Changi Airport.
“Similarly, for the launch of Miu Miu’s signature fragrance, a special Outpost has been set up beside the Terminal 1 Cosmetics & Perfumes Central Store in the Transit Departure area from 12 August to 6 September 2015. Travellers can be amongst the first to experience the Miu Miu fragrance, as well as to get their bottles personalised with their initials at the Miu Miu Outpost.”
The retailer says that Perfumer Daniela Andrier has created a fragrance “which starts with an elegant, sensual floral, lily of the valley, composed of real jasmine, real rose absolute, and synthetic green notes. The soft, fresh, ingénue scent is set against a deep earth-toned background: the wood and pepper of Akigalawood®, an extract of Patchouli”.
Meanwhile, the Miu Miu bottle is described as ‘sensual soft blue-pillowed opaque glass’. Shilla adds: “The translucent red disk gives a playful, graphic, outré quality; the warm tone complementing the cool of the bottle. The overall effect is youthful and feminine, but also that of a slightly exaggerated elegance: a vaguely-remembered dream re-rendered in vivid Technicolor.
Exclusive travel retail prices for the new line are as follows: Miu Miu Eau De Parfum, 50ml is S$113 ($80.30); 100ml S$152 ($108); and the Miu Miu Body Lotion, 200ml is S$58 ($41.22).
