Luxury cigar manufacturer Oettinger Davidoff AG has teamed up with Société De Distribution Aéroportuaire (SDA) at Paris Charles de Gaulle Terminal 2E to open a new walk-in humidor in what has traditionally been its number one travel retail premium cigar location, according to Davidoff CEO Hans-Kristian Hoejsgaard.

 
SDA is the 50-50 joint venture between Lagardère Travel Retail and Aéroports de Paris, which operates the BUY PARIS DUTY FREE retail brand at both CDGT2 and Paris Orly airports, with this new CDG humidor said to be located in a prime position.

 

Originally opened on 31 January 2017, Davidoff says the new store simply demonstrates how each of the partner companies involved in the project really values ‘outstanding quality and excellent product presentation’.

Dag Inge Rasmussen, Chairman and CEO of Lagardère Travel Retail said: “Our BUY PARIS DUTY FREE shop at Terminal 2E carries a full line of premium cigars and specializes in limited-edition cigars to pair with the unique liquor selection.

The SDA company also offers a wide selection from the full Davidoff range, with aficionados able to source cigars from the company’s other well-established brands, which include Camacho, Griffin’s and Zino.

 

 

As would be expected, this new walk-in humidor also serves to protect the quality of the cigars and store them in optimum ideal humidity conditions for optimal taste experience and enjoyment.
