Lanson brand-building in Russia

By Caroline Sargent |

Champagne Lanson is hopeful a new listing on board national carrier Aeroflot will serve to build brand awareness in Russia. Lanson Black Label has been chosen by the airline as its preferred Champagne for serving to passengers travelling business class on internal flights for the next three years.

Says Olivier De La Giraudière, Champagne Lanson Export Manager, “We’re delighted with this new business and thank our Russian market distributor SIMPLE for its assistance in negotiating this partnership.

“Russia is a rapidly growing market for Lanson and being chosen as the Champagne on the national carrier will certainly help to continue and support this trend.”

In addition to Aeroflot, Black Label is now also served onboard Emirates and Oman Air, again in business class.

“We strongly believe that if an airline has chosen Lanson over any other Champagne it is a tremendous boost in terms of our profile and, of course, in attracting new consumers on the home market,” remarks De La Giraudière.
