TRBusiness Rocks ISPY in January

By Charlotte Turner |

TRBusiness is teaming up with ISPY as the official media partner, delivering its popular ‘TRBusiness Rocks’ formula to the inflight retail event’s gala evening on Thursday 29 January.

“The ISPY Gala Awards has the reputation of being one of the most exciting in the travel retail industry calendar, but this has not stopped the organisers Travel Retail Training Ltd (TRT) from changing the format completely,” says Christine Martin TRT MD.

TRBusiness Rocks band, Soul Beat, will perform live at the ISPY Oscar’s Gala Party, which will take place on the final evening of the ISPY event – between 26-29 January at The Grand hotel in Brighton.

Partnering with the M&M’s brand, ISPY is employing Miss Green, Yellow and Red to personally welcome inflight retail guests on the night to celebrate the achievements of the ‘world’s greatest selling cabin crew’. Like any red carpet event, the champagne will be flowing, this time courtesy of Ratcliffe & Brown.

Guests will then be guided to their Odeon cinema seats for the ISPY2015 ‘Oscar style’ award presentations, complete with Joe & Seph’s popcorn. “The awards line up is different this year too, so expect the unexpected,” adds Martin. “What we can tell you is that a certain ‘Love Story’ will be revealed.”

After the final award of the night, the ‘Inflight Sales Person of the Year 2015’ guests will return to The Grand hotel for one of the biggest parties of the year. For the first time the award winning crew will be able to watch a film of themselves collecting their awards on screen whilst dinner is served.

“We will even have our very own Bottega Gold bar for guests to mingle and share in a glass of delicious Prosecco,” adds Martin. “With the last mouthful of dessert being eaten, Soul Beat courtesy of TRB, will take to the stage and ISPY will rock like never before.”
