The UK Travel Retail Consortium (TRC) has elected a new group of officers to oversee the organisation’s affairs for the next 24 months, headed up by Chairperson Rebecca Harwood Lincoln (inset, right).

 

Latterly second in command, she now takes over from Peter Ayling, after working within TRC alongside her role as Travel Retail Director of the Swiss Eyewear Group (Invu sunglasses) and prior to that with Polaroid Eyewear.

 

EXPERIENCED INDUSTRY INDIVIDUALS…

In turn, her role as Vice Chairperson was taken over by Jonathan Corbett from Guinness last month (January 2017). Corbett has worked in travel retail for 18 years.

 

Meanwhile, Martyn Westbury – with eight years under his belt with TRC – has returned to work with the Swiss Eyewear Group and the TRC, having previously served as a Chairperson before ‘retiring’ from Mars and the TRC in 2013.

 

He actually took on the role of treasurer in April 2016 and was recently re-elected to continue in the position for 2017.

 

Last, but not least, Tina Davies from Imperial Tobacco was also unanimously re-elected to continue in the Secretary’s role for 2017 – a position she has held since 2011.
