After 18 years of faithful service to US drinks giant, Brown Forman Corporation, the company’s Vice President and Director of Public Relations, Rick Bubenhofer has announced the opening of his new boutique public relations agency, RBPR, effective 4 July, 2016.

 

The long-time travel retail public relations executive, says his new company, RBPR, will operate out of both New York City and Louisville, Kentucky, and will specialize in public relations, news media relations, news story development and placement, crisis communications and communications training. Global Travel Retail (GTR) will be one of the key focuses of RBPR.

 

“I became fascinated with global travel retail as soon as I attended my first TFWA show in Cannes in 2000,” said Bubenhofer.

 

“I still find it to be exciting and vibrant and plan on using my knowledge of the industry and strong relationship with the travel retail news media – as well as the general news media – to represent my travel retail clients.”

 

Bubenhofer has a strong reputation within global travel retail as a public relations professional with a talent for news media relations and generating coverage.

 

He is well known within the industry news media for the popular bi-annual press trips he arranged over the years to various Brown-Forman locations.
