Cîroc creates a new taste for summer season

By Danielle Hook |

Diageo-owned Cîroc Vodka has gone tropical with its latest flavour, Cîroc pineapple, and will roll out numerous high profile airport activations in partnership with key travel retail partners in the coming months.

Cîroc pineapple is made with French grapes infused with ‘delicate natural flavours’ of crushed pineapple to deliver ‘a smooth tropical taste’.

“The vibrant flavours of Cîroc pineapple create a perfect blend for seasonal cocktails,” says the brand.

‘Deluxe’ Cîroc tasting bars at select airports promise to give travellers an experience of a refreshing ‘tropical taste of paradise’. Activations will take place in key airport locations across the globe including New York, Miami, Beirut and the party capital of Ibiza.

Kathelijne Baauw, Global White Spirits Marketing Director of Diageo Global Travel and Middle East said: “We are committed to strengthening our position in the spirits category through a clear focus on premiumisation and differentiation.”

The company claims Cîroc is one of the fastest growing luxury vodkas in the travel retail industry, delivering strong double-digit growth over the last few years. The company added: “We are confident that launching Cîroc Pineapple and creating these striking and engaging launches in close partnership with our customers, such as World Duty Free Group, will help drive sales and contribute to future success in the category.”

Cîroc Pineapple will be available in selected airports at a recommended retail price of €39.90 for 1 litre. The Cîroc launches will run throughout the summer.
