Clarins’ Piquereau heads off to AmorePacific

Amore Pac N PiquereauLong-time Clarins senior executive, Nicolas Piquereau, has joined South Korea’s fast-expanding beauty house AmorePacific as Senior Vice President for Global Travel Retail.

In the new job, which he started in January, Piquereau is tasked with defining, developing and implementing short and long-term strategic directions and plans for AmorePacific’s duty free and travel retail business. Implementation of an integrated sales process store openings, product operations, and in-store promotions are also in his remit.

Prior to joining the Korean company, Piquereau was Commercial Director for France at Clarins Group for 18 months. However,  he has been tapped for his extensive experience in the DF&TR channel.

He was General Manager Travel Retail Worldwide at Clarins Group for almost three years from October 2011 to June 2014 and before that he had Regional Director DF&TR roles for the house in both Asia Pacific and Europe lasting a decade.

In the 1990s he also held the post of Regional Sales Manager Asia-Pacific at Beaute Prestige International (a Shiseido company) for more than four years.
