Coccinelle delivers ‘colour power’ in S/S ’15 ad campaign

By Caroline Sargent |

With striking, intense, full ‘colour power’ at its heart, Italian bags and accessories brand Coccinelle will launch its new Spring/Summer 2015 advertising campaign from February.

With a focus on the B14 Bag – Coccinelle’s it-bag of the season – the campaign was shot by New York-based fashion photographer Billy Kidd.

Boldly coloured garments and backdrops melt together providing a stark and effective canvas for each bag, resulting in an image which holds the eye and commands attention.

“I wanted each bag to stand out and be the absolute protagonist of each shot, and at the same time each bag was meant to portray a different woman and a different mood which was represented very successfully by the different colour combinations,” explains Kidd.

The star of the campaign is Victoria’s Secret model Devon Windsor.

Known to the fashion world since she was 15 years old, she has modelled for the most important fashion brands in the world.

‘Daring is a must and, shot after shot, contrast after contrast, these bags do not need any other presentation but their own image,’ adds the brand.

The outcome is a luxe, glamorous look ‘that doesn’t compromise and that dictates the rules of this season.’
