Coty releases ‘recast’ Gucci Bamboo after P&G merger
By Charlotte Turner |
Following a merger of P&G beauty brands in 2015, Coty is now able to reveal its plans for one of its new fragrance acquisitions; the already hugely successful Gucci Bamboo.
The new Gucci Bamboo Limited Edition launched in European travel retail locations on 1 January and will do the same in Asia and Americas as of 1 February.
Coty reveals that is launching a special new version of the scent, which has been ‘recast’ by Gucci House Director, Alessandro Michele.
“The Gucci Bamboo Limited Edition’s eau de parfum is the original woody floral fragrance, tinted a jewel tone to celebrate the scent’s new chapter,” says Coty.
“Soft and intense at once, the scent blooms with notes of exotic Casablanca Lily and Tahitian Vanilla. Sandalwood and Grey Amber balance the femininity with a woody contrast, to create a statement of strength and sophistication.”
The new Gucci Bamboo Limited bottle features ‘art deco inspired lines’, and a silver stopper in the form of bamboo. The lavender-hued outer packing depicts a bamboo garden.
The visuals for the new product, which feature model Polina, were shot by Glen Luchford, who ‘captures the poetry and romance that underscores the House’s aesthetic’.
