Diageo GTME has released a limited edition of The Johnnie Walker Blue Label 2015 to selected travel retail outlets worldwide.

Already tipped as ‘highly collectible’ and ideal for gifting, the signature blue-coloured, mirrored presentation case allows a glimpse of the rare whisky inside, while the sleek, angular, pale blue bottle features the the iconic slanted label.

Enclosed tasting notes describes ‘liquid layers of fresh sweet flavours burst onto the palate, before rich fruit and chocolatey malt tones come to the fore. Old oak woody notes reveal themselves next, evolving into hidden depths of aromatic spice. Finally, the signature Johnnie Walker smokiness rounds everything off, delivering an impossibly long, lingering finish.’

Peter Fairbrother, Global Marketing Director of Diageo Global Travel and Middle East (GTME), says, “We know that shoppers are looking for something special to take home from their travels, so the availability of this premium limited edition bottle delivers just that. It is a special version of one of the rarest blends of Johnnie Walker.

“Making this product available in travel retail is continued demonstration of our commitment to a truly premium and differentiated offering in this channel.”

Travel retail outlets in airports including Korea, Singapore, China, UAE and the USA will be creating exciting in-store activations for the limited edition, which is now available for a short time only.
