La Prairie gains two board members

By Kevin Rozario |

Beiersdorf-owned La Prairie Group appointed two new directors to its board at the end of 2014 from marketing and regional management roles.

The luxury Swiss beauty house promoted Greg Prodromides to Senior Vice President Global Marketing for the La Prairie brand in late December 2014, succeeding Lynne Florio, who now has a consulting role for the company.

Prodromides has been with the brand since 2013 and is responsible for the La Prairie global brand, its strategic positioning, and the development of all products and marketing programmes. He has 20 years of experience in the beauty business and was previously Global Skincare Director at Christian Dior.

Kirsten Hangarter was promoted to Vice President of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) on 1 November 2014, succeeding Pascal Hyafil, who left the company in October. Hangarter has been with La Prairie for over 10 years and was previously Business Development Director, EMEA.

Both Prodromides and Hangarter report directly to Patrick Rasquinet, President and CEO of La Prairie Group. “Greg and Kirsten offer extensive global experience and expertise in luxury skincare and I am confident in the invaluable contributions they will bring to the brand,” comments Rasquinet.
