Marshmallow extract at heart of new launch for Jurlique

Jurlique is launching new products into travel retail ahead of the TFWA World Exhibition & Conference in October, including the Activating Water Essence and Nutri-Define Restorative Hydrating Emulsion.
The new highly concentrated Activating Water Essence, which Jurlique says should be used as an ‘essential step in every skin care ritual’, is suitable for every skin type.
“It hydrates the skin, which in turn enhances the performance of your serum and moisturiser, and leaves you with rejuvenated skin,” says the brand.
“What’s truly innovative about this product is that it captures the vital living energy of plants to continuously hydrate, soften and revitalise the skin.”
BIODYNAMIC MARSHMALLOW ROOT EXTRACT
Its main active ingredient, biodynamic Marshmallow Root extract, is said to deeply hydrate skin while improving its ability to retain moisture.
Marshmallow Root contains a high percentage of a thick, syrup-like liquid called mucilage, which has intensive hydrating, softening and balancing properties, says Jurlique.
NUTRI-DEFINE RANGE
Also new to the Jurlique portfolio is the Nutri-Define Restorative Hydrating Emulsion; ‘a luxurious yet lightweight alternative to our bestselling Nutri-Define Multi-Correcting Day Cream’.
“Infused with Biosome5 liposomal technology, it targets the advanced signs of ageing to help skin feel redefined, revitalised and replenished,” says the brand. “And it leaves your complexion beautifully matte and looking radiant.”

The new emulsion forms part of a whole Nutri-Define range which includes: the new Nutri-Define Restorative Hydrating Emulsion (50ml); Superior Retexturising Facial Serum (30ml); Eye Contour Balm (15ml); Multi-Correcting Day Cream (50ml); Rejuvenating Overnight Cream (50ml); Essential Conditioning Lotion (100ml) and finally the Refining Foaming Cleanser (100ml).
