Popularity drives Aviator expansion from Scorpio
By Kevin Rozario |
Following the launch of an extension of the successful Aviator F Series at TFWA World Exhibition to include a Vintage Collection, Scorpio Worldwide has added additional designs due to demand.
The vintage models pay homage to 1940s and 1950s pilot watch styles and they have been joined by others with “a broader appeal”. Additionally, the Aviator F Series will now compromise more traditional chronograph pilot watches, thanks to increasing interest in this trend.
Scorpio Chairman, Stuart McGuire, says: “The Aviator range has seen a number of upgrades and extensions over the years to ensure that we are constantly providing designs that are on trend, and emulate what is currently on the High Street. The Vintage Collection has already proven to be popular, so we are confident that the new additions will only add to this.”
OTHER BRANDS
At the TFWA Asia Pacific show (Basement 2, D9), the UK company will also be showcasing a selection of Timberland watches which sit at a lower price point than those found in the domestic market.
The revamped jewellery brand, Pierre Cardin will also be making an appearance, with a first-time introduction of men’s and women’s watch sets with the popular Nato strap design. The collection will also see more striking colours added. Additionally, there is a selection of popular pendant and earring sets, plus new designs for individual pieces.
In electronics, Scorpio will be introducing the world’s smallest three-pole travel adapter from SKROSS. This, along with power banks, and a unique charge and sync alarm cable called the SKROSS Buzz, is a totally new direction for the brand.
