Burke takes over Beirut DF after O’Neill resigns

O’Neill is heading home to Ireland.

Ciaran O’Neill has resigned as General Manager of Beirut Duty Free after over 14 years with the operation and he is being replaced by duty free and travel retail veteran Maurice Burke.

O’Neill is also leaving Aer Rianta International, which runs Beirut Duty Free, to return to Ireland.

In a statement, ARI says: “We would like to thank Ciaran for his outstanding contribution in growing ARI’s business in Beirut Duty Free over the last 14 years and wish him every success in his future endeavours.”

Maurice Burke has a wealth of international DF&TR experience having previously managed ARI operations in Bahrain, Qatar and most recently, Delhi Duty Free Services.
