Indian nationals ride their luck in DDF prize draws
By Doug Newhouse |
Dubai Duty Free (DDF) found its 218th Millennium Millionaire recently when ticket number 2735 belonging to 40 year-old Indian national Mr. Premjith Pushkaran was drawn at Dubai International Airport in its latest Millennium Millionaire draw.
As an Indian working in finance in Dubai, Mr. Pushkaran apparently won after ten earlier attempts, declaring that that he ‘can’t wait to celebrate’ with his family and friends.
India scored again at these latest awards, when fellow national Mr. Baskar Vairavan was contacted while travelling to learn that he had won a Ducati Hyperstrada 939 motorcycle. A 41-year old resident of Dubai, the accounts manager was apparently ‘thrilled’ with the news, after entering the ticket draw on several occasions in the past.
Meanwhile, in two additional Finest Surprise draws, Mr. Al Hashad was the lucky winner of an Audi A8L 3.0 in series 1625 and DDF added that Saif Alsuwaidi is also going to be pleased when they can track him down, as he is now the proud owner of a Mercedes Benz S550.
