Qatar online check in offers retail incentives

Top Akbar QDFQatar Airways and Qatar Duty Free have combined forces yet again to incentivise travellers to use the airline’s online check in procedure in return for a 10% discount shopping voucher.

 

Qatar Duty Free – which is owned by Qatar Airways – will accept the vouchers in participating stores at Doha’s Hamad International Airport (HIA) this summer, with the vouchers immediately available for passengers to download once they have completed their remote online check in.

Commenting on the initiative, Qatar Airways Group CEO, His Excellency, Mr. Akbar Al Baker (who is also CEO of Qatar Duty Free) said: “Our focus is always on providing the very best travel experience and value for our passengers, from booking their journey to reaching their final destination.

 

 

Qatar Duty Free at HIA

Most of Qatar Duty Free’s partner and self-operated stores are participating in the incentive programme.

Qatar Airways adds that within the QDF shops customers will be able to exchange these vouchers as part payment for a wide selection of products, including offerings from stores and brands such as Tiffany, Burberry, TAG Heuer, Chopard, Bulgari, Harrods, Michael Kors, Coach, Perfumes, Cosmetics and Skincare, Godiva chocolates, Swarovski jewellery and gifts from Marmalade Market.
