Kate-Spade-Oslo-Airport-leadTravel Retail Norway has injected some on-trend New York style into its new Travel Value Fashion store at Oslo Airport, with the inclusion of a shop-in-shop from fashion designer, Kate Spade.

US-born Kate Spade – now known as Kate Valentine – is the namesake of the brand founded in 1993, who sold the remaining shares in the brand in 2006.

Sunglasses from Ray-Ban and Oakley, as well as luxury fashion brand Saint Laurent join the fashion and accessories range from Kate Spade New York.

“This is our second Travel Value Fashion store at Oslo Airport and everything is ready for a great shopping experience,” says Håkon Fjeld-Hansen, Managing Director of Travel Retail Norway.

The new fashion store is located in the new terminal Pier North, at Oslo Airport opposite the exit of Travel Retail Norway’s new Heinemann Duty Free Departure store.

TRN opened its new 2,400sq m duty free departure shop at Avinor Oslo Airport on 1 December, bringing the number of departure stores to two and effectively more than doubling the previous space.

“The growth of Kate Spade has been phenomenal, and we believe travellers at Oslo Airport will love their new line up. Our expectations to the new shop are sky-high,” adds Fjeld-Hansen.
