Actium appointment powers Tea Forté in travel retail

TF_Logo_Icon_Tagline_TM_DKGREY-CMYKTea Forté has announced a collaboration with US-based luxury retail and distribution firm Actium to drive the global luxury tea purveyor’s influence in global travel retail.

Actium, which began its partnership with Tea Forté earlier this month, now acts as the brand’s exclusive representative for travel retail worldwide as well as in the Latin America and Caribbean domestic markets.

In a statement, Tea Forté says the partnership ‘will bring more added value to our business relationship with our customers and clients around the world and accordingly allow our business to go to the next level’.

With offices in Miami, Mexico, Panama, Chile and France, Actium has experience building premium lifestyle brands in the Latin American and Caribbean domestic markets, and in travel retail at airports, onboard airlines, cruises and at border shops, including in North America.

Its business units cover distribution in premium wines & spirits (Whyte & Mackay, Laurent Perrier Champagne, VOSS Water, Rum Chata); and perfumes, cosmetics and accessories (L’Oreal Luxury Division, PUIG, Hermès Parfums, Sisley, Kering, Thomas Sabo).

In addition, it retails high-end fashion, accessories, jewellery and watch brands (in partnership with Panama-based St. Honoré ) for Hermes and Gucci, both in Panama and Chile; Cartier in St Barth and Sint Maarten; and Michael Kors in Chile.

The Actium team includes Daniel Bras, Director for LATAM and Caribbean Travel Retail and Domestic; and Hanan Fraysse, Director of Travel Retail worldwide, excluding LATAM and Caribbean.

DIVISIONAL CHANGES

The appointment of Actium follows the news of several changes in Tea Forté’s personnel.

David Ferreira, former Head of Global Travel Retail at Cross, has joined Tea Forté as Vice President of Retail (travel retail, wholesale and distributors) following the departure of Vice President of Global Sales and Travel Retail Moshe Cohen.

Ferreira reports to CEO Michael Gebrael, who joined the firm last year.

Global Travel Retail Director Kendra Silvestri, who has been with the company for more than 10 years and is an active figure in its travel retail business, reports to Ferreira.
