Philadelphia unveils new retail shops

By Doug Newhouse |

Lick, Ruby Blue, Finish Line and TUMI are all new retail outlets at Philadelphia Airport’s Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops.

Lick is located at the D/E Connector location and is described as ‘a not so average candy store’ where customers can stop and sample ‘all sorts of sweet treats’, while Ruby Blue (also located at the D/E Connector) offers ‘a vast array of jewellery, handbags, gift items and accessories’.

By contrast, Finish Line in the B/C Connector is aimed at travellers who are looking for a new pair of kicks (trainers/shoes) or brand name active clothing wear for a long flight and this is now its second US airport location.

A new F&B outlet offering pub fare called Jack Duggan’s (in Concourse A East) has also opened recently, while the TUMI opening scheduled in the D/E Connector is said to be just a few weeks away, along with a new Terminal A-located Mediterranean cuisine restaurant called La Tapenade.

Philadelphia Airport now offers more than 170 locations for shopping and dining through its Philadelphia Marketplace Food & Shops programme.
