World Duty Free opens five new Miami stores

WDFG-Miami-Airport-Padraig-Drennan-heroWorld Duty Free Group (WDFG) and Master ConcessionAir (MCA), have boosted their combined retail presence at Miami International Airport (MIA) with five new locations, between concourses H and J.

 

Among the new units are three standalone stores – MAC, Desigual and Coach – and two kiosks for brands Tumi and Tous – totalling an area of 3,531sq ft.

The new retail areas join 10 other store locations that World Duty Free Group operates in MIA, which serves more than 40m passengers every year.

“We have made a concerted effort to further diversify our retail options, which is why WDFG has opened our first-ever locations for Desigual, MAC, Tumi and Tous, and our first Coach location in the South Terminal.

The new 1,005sq ft MAC Cosmetics store, the largest of the new developments, marks the brand’s entry into MIA and the 992sq ft Desigual store is said to blend seamlessly with the Miami aesthetic, with its “vibrant clothing and accessories,” says the airport.

The Tumi store covers 256sq ft and the Spanish family-run Tous shop, at 365sq ft, sees another new brand enter MIA.

World Duty Free Group will operate all five stores in partnership with Master Concession Air, LLC.
