Maison Valentino opened at the Seoul store on 1 September.

Lotte Duty Free is strengthening the fashion line-up at its Myeongdong flagship with the addition of Maison Valentino and Duvetica, as the Korean retailer looks to broaden its luxury offer for domestic and international shoppers.

Maison Valentino opened at the Seoul store on 1 September, followed by Italian premium downwear brand Duvetica on 11 September.

The new Valentino boutique focuses on the Italian luxury house’s handbag and footwear collections, including a contemporary reinterpretation of the Valentino Garavani Rockstud pump. First introduced for Autumn/Winter 2010, the Rockstud has since become one of the house’s signature footwear designs. The latest interpretation reflects Creative Director Alessandro Michele’s vision, retaining the geometric Rockstud motif while introducing a pointed toe, platinum finish and Valentino’s signature red insole.

Duvetica, meanwhile, arrives at Myeongdong with a selection centred on its Autumn/Winter 2026 collection. Among the key pieces are the Alloro Velvet and Torisa Velvet styles, alongside the lightweight Euripide short-sleeved down jacket and longer Sobara and Remie silhouettes.

To mark the opening, customers spending KRW900,000 or more at Duvetica will receive a complimentary bag while stocks last.

The two additions form part of Lotte Duty Free’s efforts to sharpen the fashion proposition at its Myeongdong flagship, with the retailer planning to continue expanding its international luxury brand portfolio and introduce new fashion concepts to give shoppers greater choice.
